The Most Underrated Point Guard

No offense to Carmelo Anthony, one of my favorite players in the NBA, but Stephen Curry is the most underrated player in the league. Curry was snubbed in the all-star voting in 2013. Curry was as an afterthought on the 2014 FIBA World Cup roster behind Derrick Rose and Kyrie Irving, and didn’t an opportunity to start.

It’s time we start paying attention to the baby faced assassin playing in Oakland.

When we talk about the best point guards in the NBA we always hear the usual suspects that get thrown around.

  • Chris Paul
  • Russell Westbrook
  • Tony Parker
  • John Wall

Even Rose gets more attention surrounding his name and he hasn’t had a healthy season in the last three years. Curry isn’t usually mentioned but he’s just as good, and better than all the guards mentioned before him.

As much as I love watching Rose play, we need to recognize that Curry right now is a better player. Rose needs to get healthy again for a full year.
