Jordan Cameron-TE-Cleveland Browns (40.1%)

Cameron is the best widely available option at tight end, although there is still some uncertainty about his availability for the Browns game on Sunday.  He was universally owned before a week 8 concussion and his ownership has steadily dropped as he failed to be cleared by the league’s concussion protocol.

The good news for his long-suffering owners or for anyone needing a tight end pickup is that Cameron was back on the practice field Friday which points to an impending return.  He wasn’t able to give it a go Sunday against Atlanta, but for now it appears he’s on track for week 13 when Cleveland will take on the Bills in Buffalo.

Cameron still represents some risk since he hasn’t played in so long and hasn’t officially been declared a “go” for Sunday.  However, he’s the top pickup at a thin position since there are so few options and none of the other widely available options come with as much upside.  With Josh Gordon back, the Browns passing attack should ramp things up as they push for the playoffs.  Cameron’s return would also be a huge boost for Cleveland, and he can also help your fantasy team when he’s healthy.

If Cameron is too risky for you other possibly available TE options include Charles Clay of the Dolphins (coming off his own injury issues), Kyle Rudolph of the Vikings, and Scott Chandler of the Bills.
