Stedman Bailey-WR-St. Louis Rams (0.1%)

If you’re in a deep league and need a fresh face at wide receiver with big-time playmaking ability, take a look at Stedman Bailey of the Rams who was suspended for the beginning of the season but has been working his way into a more prominent role in the Rams passing attack.  Since Brian Quick went down with an injury, Bailey really only has Kenny Britt to contend with for WR targets.  With the upside Bailey brings, look for Shaun Hill  to keep trying to get the ball in his hands.

On Sunday, Hill did just that targeting Bailey nine times against the Chargers.  Bailey caught seven of those passes for 89 yards while scoring his first touchdown of the season.  He should continue to get enough work to make him a fantasy flier as his role continues to grow and evolve over the coming weeks.

While he’s no lock and definitely high-risk, Bailey’s matchups coming down the stretch are favorable and the Rams offense is starting to play much better than it did earlier this season.  In week 13, the Rams host the Raiders before going to Washington week 14.  At least keep an eye on Bailey even if you don’t need a receiver right now since he could emerge as a nice option for next season if he emerges as the Rams top receivers.
