The Jersey Report tracks the sales of NFL jerseys at DICK’s Sporting Goods stores around the nation and online. With that data they come up with weekly ratings, ranking the top selling jerseys in numerous categories and allowing you to pit two player’s jersey sales against one another, head-to-head.

They also look for some more obscure or fun trends, like which player is the most popular in each state according to womenwhich team is the most popular in each state, or which number is the most popular. This time they’ve outdone themselves with a Thanksgiving themed and colored map depicting the markets that sell the most NFL jerseys.

The closer to the dark fall shade of orange, the more jerseys that area sells. On the opposite end of the scale, the blue color is the fewest jersey sales. The map is very lopsided, with the majority of sales coming from east of the Mississippi River, but the majority of the teams are on that coast. A lot of the map looks blue and vacant with the exception of the Denver Broncos in the that part of the country. It seems toe seems to be a definite correlation between where NFL teams are located an jersey sales.
