Kansas City Chiefs’ Travis Kelce Does Jerking Motion Over Alex Smith Cheap Shot (Video)
By Josh Hill
The Kansas City Chiefs have been on the receiving end of some hard hits against the Denver Broncos, but tight end Travis Kelce took exception to a cheap shot on Alex Smith.
Kansas City Chiefs fans have come out in droves to see if they can’t watch their team move into first place in the AFC West, but they’re paying the price for going up against the Denver Broncos. The Denver defense has been crunching bones on Sunday night, but not every hit was legal.

On one particular play in the fourth quarter, the Chiefs watched as Von Miller launched himself into Alex Smith on an obvious roughing the passer penalty.
The flag was thrown and the yards were awarded, but as Chris Collinsworth pointed out, sometimes fifteen years just isn’t enough. Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce happened to agree with the NBC announcer but was more visual with his displeasure.
It’s possible that he was making the gesture over Smith getting hit and not being able to take it, but the nature of the cheap shot and fact that only 15 yards can be awarded is more than likely the season. It’s a rule change that we could possibly see in the near future, as the NFL needs to start looking at cheap shots differently than other fifteen years penalties.
If for nothing else, please consider so we never have to see Travis Kelce ever do that again, our eyes thank you.
