Kyle Rudolph-TE-Minnesota Vikings (18.2%)

At a shallow position, one option who offers some upside and appears to be on the rise is Vikings TE Kyle Rudolph.  At the beginning of the season, Rudolph was viewed as a player with sleeper potential due to his role as a tight end in Norv Turner’s system, but a sports hernia has cost him most of the season.  He completely missed weeks 4-10 and played very sparingly in week 11.

In week 12, Rudolph had 50 yards receiving on his three catches, and last week against the Panthers he found the end zone for the first time since week 1 finishing with seven yards on just two catches. He still is less than 100% and not fully integrated into the Minnesota attack; however, his raw skillset and role in the red zone make him worth a look if Jordan Reed is already off your waiver wire and there aren’t any better options.

One thing Rudolph has going for him is some favorable matchups the rest of the way.  This week he and the Vikings take on the Jets coming off their short week after losing on Monday Night Football.  Minnesota finishes the season with games against the Lions, Dolphins, and Bears who should be favorable enough matchups to keep Rudolph on the fringes of the starting TE discussion.
