Minnesota Vikings D/ST (23.1%)

Sunday was a big day for the Vikings D/ST as they led the team to a home win over Cam Newton and the visiting Carolina Panthers. Minnesota has capitalized on weak opponents this year scoring 14 points or more in four games this season.

On Sunday, they returned a pair of blocked punts for touchdowns, added an interception, and put Newton on his back with four sacks. They held the Panthers to only 13 points and finished with 25 fantasy points making them the second-highest scoring defense of the week behind only the Rams and their shutout of the Raiders.

In week 14, the Vikings will again be at home where they’ve played much better, and they’ll have a favorable matchup against Geno Smith (or Michael Vick) and the 2-10 Jets. Whoever is under center for New York, it will be a good matchup for this opportunistic defense making them a nice addition if you’re streaming for the playoffs.
