Fantasy Football 2014: Week 14 Waiver Wire top 10 Pickups
Latavius Murray-RB-Oakland Raiders (37.5%)
Upside–Murray has it and showed just how good he could bee back in week 11 when he gauged the Chiefs for 112 yards rushing and a pair of touchdowns on just four carries. The Raiders offense badly missed his spark this week against the Rams as they were drubbed 52-0 as Murray was sidelined with a concussion.
If Murray gets the chance to play and the Raiders give him the carries, he has the potential to be a huge pickup as their feature back. Only Darren McFadden and Maurice Jones-Drew stand between him and the starting role, so look for him to step right in if he’s able to work his way through the NFL concussion protocol.
If Murray returns this week, he’ll have to face a tough 49er defense, but his potential is high enough as the best playmaker in Oakland that he should be added based on his upside if Tre Mason and Dan Herron are already claimed in your league.
