3. Pittsburgh Steelers Antonio Brown

Off statistics alone, Antonio Brown could have landed at the No.1 spot. Brown is pretty much on the verge of winning the Wide Receiver Version of Baseball’s Triple Crown (leading the league in receptions, TD catches, and receiving yards). Brown leads all wideouts in receptions (96) and receiving yards (1,258) and is second in touchdown catches (11).

To add to his lofty numbers, he’s also averaging 13.1 yards per catch and is first in receiving yards per game (104.8). You can call this a breakout year for Brown and rightfully so. He’s been as explosive as any receiver on the year and where he’s been most destructive is in the open field where he makes a living with yards after the catch (419 yards after the catch in 2014).

The 5’10” Brown has been a game-breaking beast and an excellent target for Ben Roethlisberger to throw to all year and threw the Steelers up-and-down play, he has been the one shining light for this team. Don’t be surprised to see him on the All-Pro First Team at the end of the season while we’re at it.
