No. 8-5

8. Tony Romo – Dallas Cowboys – Power Ranking Score: 291 (-4)

Romo did not have a very Happy Thanksgiving (at least on the field). One week after peaking at number four on these rankings he’s now down to number eight. After Romo there is a drop off and a noticeable gap between Romo and Flacco.

7. Ben Roethlisberger – Pittsburgh Steelers – Power Ranking Score: 292.7 (-2)

Roethlisberger is down a couple of spots this week as well. The Steelers (with Big Ben at the helm) are one of the more inconsistent teams in the NFL. At times they look like Super Bowl contenders and other times they go out and completely lay an egg like they did against the Jets and Bucs. Roethlisberger has still been good this year, but he’s not currently worthy of the top five.

6. Andrew Luck – Indianapolis Colts – Power Ranking Score: 300.6 (+2)

Andrew Luck is up a couple of spots up this week. Luck is having a career year and it’s certainly possible that he could heat up come playoff time, but he still has some growing to do as a player and if/when he does up his game a little more he may just find himself fighting for a top three spot in these rankings.

5. Philip Rivers – San Diego Chargers – Power Ranking Score: 302.1 (+2)

Philip Rivers claws his way back into the top five after an impressive come from behind win against the Ravens. Rivers really is one of the best passers in the NFL, but there will always be something about how he carries himself that bugs me. Side Note: it’s possible that my dislike of Rivers may stem from my status as a huge KC Chiefs fan.
