The Armchair Quarterback’s Guide To The NFL: Week 14
St. Louis Rams at Washington Redskins
This might not go down as too many NFL fans’ game of the week, but I actually think it could be a pretty good game. The Rams defense has been playing much better and I think they could give the Redskins some problems. That having been said, Washington is much better with Colt McCoy under center than they were with RG3 (hard to believe, but true). While the game is in DC, I think the fact that St. Louis has SUCH a better defense will ultimately carry them to a close road win.

New York Giants at Tennessee Titans
Much like the Rams/Redskins game this one could be a pretty hard fought battle between two losing teams. The Giants run defense is bad, but I’m not sure if the Titans have the running game to exploit it. Plus, Zach Mettenberger is banged up. Sounds like he should play, but who knows if he’ll be 100%. After blowing the game in Jacksonville last week I think the Giants may bounce back a little here. I’m banking on “Good Eli” showing up for this game. Unfortunately, that’s a pretty risky roll of the dice this season.
