The Armchair Quarterback’s Guide To The NFL: Week 14
Baltimore Ravens at Miami Dolphins
There are two great match ups this Sunday, one in each conference. The Ravens go to Miami and with both teams sitting at 7-5 this game could have major playoff implications. Last season the Ravens were able to go into Miami and come out with a three point win and I think this game may play out that way again. One of the strengths of the Dolphins team is their pass rush, but quietly the Ravens have given up the second fewest sacks of any team in the NFL. The Dolphins are coming off a short week and the Ravens should be motivated after letting the San Diego game slip away.

Indianapolis Colts at Cleveland Browns
The Cleveland Browns made the “safe” choice by going with Brian Hoyer as their starter in this game. The problem with that is that Hoyer has been anything but safe recently. In the last three games he’s thrown six interceptions with only one TD pass. While Cleveland’s excellent pass defense may slow Andrew Luck down, a “slowed down” Luck is still better than Hoyer has been of late. I like the Colts to pull out a close road win.
