NBA Player Power Rankings: Anthony Davis Time!

16. Chris Paul
17.9 PPG, 9.5 APG, 4.0 RPG, 2.1 SPG, 27.3 PER
Chris Paul is another one of those guys, like Tony Parker, who doesn’t necessarily blow people away with his stats but is easily one of the best players in the NBA.
Paul might not be the best point guard, statistically, in the league, but on a nightly basis, there are few better than Paul.
Paul’s consistency has helped get the Clippers back on track this season after they struggled right out of the gate. Paul’s sacrifice in scoring is allowing Blake Griffin, Jamal Crawford, and others to be the primary scorers on the team, which is more than okay with Paul.
It’s not like Paul isn’t getting his points, though. He’s still averaging 17 points per game on the season, but he’s moving the ball and getting his teammates involved, which is exactly what a point guard needs to do in Doc Rivers’ offense.
