19. (TIE) Bobby Mitchell, Washington “Redskins”: 68 Points

Bobby Mitchell, Charley Taylor’s teammate, began his career as a kick returner and a halfback, but when he got to Washington he converted to a flanker (or wide receiver). He was a dominant athlete and scorer in the 1960s and is one of the all-time great offensive ‘Skins of all-time. Overall he’s one of the more underrated football players in NFL history because of his unquestionable versatility and scoring prowess.

Twice he led the league in receiving yards and once he led the NFL in receiving touchdowns and receptions. Mitchell was named to four Pro Bowl squads and was named First Team All-Pro once in his career. He wasn’t the most conventional receiver in league history, but he did play the flanker position with excellence, so he does belong on this list.
