8. Terrell Owens, San Francisco 49ers: 100 Points

Perhaps the most infamous of all wide receivers in NFL history is Terrell Owens. Like him and his antics or not, he deserves his spot in the top 10 of this list. For all of his drama and troubles, he truly was a great wide receiver. He never won a ring in the NFL, but came close in 2004 with the Philadelphia Eagles. He put together a few dominant seasons with the Dallas Cowboys, too.

Above all else Owens knew how to find the end zone and three times he led the NFL in receiving touchdowns. Yet he never led the league in receptions or receiving yards (despite putting up big numbers). Although he did put up nine 1000-yard receiving seasons in an 11 year stretch. That is fairly remarkable no matter how you slice it. Five times he was named First Team All-Pro and six times went to the Pro Bowl. His reputation as a person and teammate severely undercut his amazing legacy.
