24. (TIE) Elroy Hirsch, Los Angeles Rams: 61 Points

The first of an astonishing five Rams players on this list is Elroy “Crazy Legs” Hirsch. He was one of the NFL’s top players in the 1950s and in 1951 he put together one of the finest seasons a wide receiver has ever compiled (17 touchdowns in 12 games). Although he would never recreate that phenomenal season, he was still a consistent playmaker for years.

Hirsch led the NFL in touchdown receptions, receiving yards and receptions once. He was named First Team All-Pro twice and was invited to three Pro Bowls in his career. He definitely helped establish the Rams as an organization that would value throwing the ball. Hirsch is sometimes just remembered as a great college football player, but it’s important to recognize that he was a sensational professional, too.
