24. (TIE) Jim Benton, Cleveland/Los Angeles Rams: 61 Points

Jim Benton was one of the first great pass catchers in Rams history. Although he only played nine seasons in the NFL he accomplished some pretty amazing things, both in Cleveland and Los Angeles, as the franchise moved during his career. He was one of the NFL’s top players in the 1940s, despite playing in the same era as Don Hutson.

Two times Benton led the NFL in receiving yards and once led the league in receptions and touchdown receptions. The interesting thing about Benton is that he seemed to only get better as his career went on. His best seasons came in his third and second to last years. He was named First Team All-Pro in both of those seasons and he received one Pro Bowl invitation from earlier in his career as well.
