Tennessee Titans (+1) over New York Giants

The Titans may be the worst team in the NFL right now. They don’t have the worst record in the league (that award belongs to the Oakland Raiders), but Tennessee has lost six straight while looking completely and utterly inept.

Naturally, I’m taking them in a spot where they basically have to win outright to cover.

At the time of this post, 88% (!) of the action on this game favors the Giants on the road, and in the spirit of “fade the public”, I have to go the other way, especially when the line has barely shifted from the opener. New York has been atrocious in their own rights as losers of seven straight games, and this wreaks of a spot where the Giants are simply getting action because they are a more public team and employ players that people recognize.

It isn’t fun to be on the side of the Titans, but they shouldn’t be a home underdog here.
