Arizona Cardinals (+1) over Kansas City Chiefs

This game opened with the Cardinals as nearly a field goal favorite in their home building, but everyone is on the Chiefs. I go the other way.

The Cardinals likely would have been a 4 or 5-point favorite if this game took place two weeks ago, and we are all overreacting to the incompetence that Arizona flashed last week in Atlanta. The Cards still deploy a strong defense, and against Alex Smith, that definitely matters. More than that, though, Kansas City is simply an average team (3-3) away from Arrowhead Stadium this season, while the Cardinals are undefeated at home.

Arizona is a team that has the public flying off the bandwagon, but I’m still here.
