One thing was clear on this weekend’s Saturday Night Live: Nicki Minaj wasn’t just there to be the musical guest. She was there to do work with some impressions, taking aim at two of the biggest names besides her own in today’s pop culture.
For one skit, Minaj did an impression of her pal and collaborative partner Beyonce. Additionally, she gave us her best Kim Kardashian impression as part of a Weekend Update sketch that poked fun at Kardashian’s recent ‘Paper’ Magazine photo shoot.
As Kardashin, Minaj claimed that the photo shoot was taken out of context and was supposed to provide valuable public service announcements. Check out the video below:
As far as promoting her new album ‘The Pinkprint’, Nicki Minaj went above and beyond. For her it wasn’t enough to simply be the musical guest on Saturday Night Live. She did some impressions and swung for the fences at that, spoofing the two women in Hollywood who go viral as often as she does.
Minaj cares not about ruffling some feathers and reminded us of that face once again on SNL.
