Williams didn’t have a carry in his NFL carrer coming into last Sunday’s game which is why the second-year running back from Utah State was universally unowned. Williams suddenly finds himself as the primary running back on a first-place team and is worth a look in fantasy football if you can’t get Daniel Herron, Latavius Murray, or Jonathan Stewart for the next few weeks.

Williams showed his upside with 100 yards in his first game in the Arizona backfield doing the most he could with his 19 carries against the Chiefs.  Williams looks to be the primary back going forward although Stepfan Taylor and Marion Grice may continue to get some looks as well.

This week, the Cardinals look to hold off the hard-charging Seahawks as they take on the Rams who have been extremely good on defense the last two weeks. Williams matchups the next two weeks against St. Louis and Seattle are the main reason he’s this low on the list, but he is a starting running back on a solid team so look  his way if your desperate for the coming weeks as he looks to earn his spot in the NFL going forward.
