14. Marcus Allen
Marcus Allen wasn’t one of the best rushers the game has seen, but he played the position for 16 seasons, which is just about impossible to do as a running back.
Allen only rushed for more than 1,000 yards in only three of those 16 seasons, but he proved his worth as a dual-threat back and a pass-catcher out of the backfield.
In 1985, Allen led the league in yards-from-scrimmage with 2,314 yards, a league-leading 1,759 rushing yards and 555 receiving yards.
