No. 20-17

20. Mark Sanchez – Philadelphia Eagles – Power Ranking Score: 215.9 (-4)

Well if there was going to be a defense that was going to bring Mark Sanchez back down to earth it was likely to be the Seahawks and that’s exactly what happened last weekend. Sanchez had been putting up some good numbers in Chip Kelly’s offense, but if they want to go anywhere in the playoffs they are going to need better QB play than they got from Sanchez against Seattle.

19. Cam Newton – Carolina Panthers – Power Ranking Score: 216.6 (+5)

Cam Newton finally had a game where he looked…..well, like Cam Newton. Between injuries and a poor supporting cast it’s been a season to forget for Newton, but last week showed that he’s still the same super talented QB that most believed him to be. Since Newton is unable to have any kind of luck that isn’t bad this year he was in a major accident yesterday that puts his starting status in question. If Newton gets back to 100% this offseason and the Panthers get him some more help he can still be a top ten QB in the NFL.

18. Jay Cutler – Chicago Bears – Power Ranking Score: 224.4 (+2)

I’m tired of talking about Jay Cutler’s wasted talent. He’s got it. He’s got weapons. He’s not doing enough with it. Blah. Blah. Blah. Move along, there’s nothing new to see here.

17. Andy Dalton – Cincinnati Bengals – Power Ranking Score: 231 (+4)

As a Chiefs fan I can relate to how Bengals fans must feel about Andy Dalton. He’s good enough to win games and get you to the playoffs but there is serious doubt about his ability to compete with the best in the NFL. My guess is that Cincy will eventually move on from Dalton before they ever see real postseason success.
