No. 16-13

16. Matt Stafford – Detroit Lions – Power Ranking Score: 234.6 (+1)

A few weeks back Stafford and the entire Detroit offense was really struggling but things seems to be coming around now. When you have Stafford’s physical tools and the best wide receiver in the NFL there is no reason the offense should struggle. If Stafford heats up just in time for the playoffs, look out.

15. Alex Smith – Kansas City Chiefs – Power Ranking Score: 238.5 (-1)

Alex Smith has had an efficient season for the Chiefs this year, but anyone that saw his feeble attempt at a game winning drive in Arizona last week has to be wondering about Smith’s ability to lead KC into the playoffs. Put me down as still having faith in Smith, just not with the supporting cast (OL and WR specifically) that he currently has.

14. Eli Manning – New York Giants – Power Ranking Score: 238.7 (+1)

If only Eli and the Giants could face the Titans every week! I’d love to tell Giant fans that I think Manning will keep things going for the final few games, but let’s be honest here, Eli could go out this week and throw three interceptions and nobody would be surprised. I’m beginning to wonder if he has another run left in him.

13. Ryan Fitzpatrick – Houston Texans – Power Ranking Score: 250.5

Ryan Fitzpatrick has been a pleasant surprise since getting his job back after an injury to Ryan Mallett forced the Texans’ hand. In fact, it may be the best thing to happen to them. This week he’ll get the biggest test since returning to the starting lineup as the Texans travel to Indianapolis to take on the division leading Colts.
