No. 12-9

12. Ryan Tannehill – Miami Dolphins – Power Ranking Score: 252.4

In a home game with serious playoff significance last week the Dolphins just couldn’t get the job done. It certainly wasn’t all Tannehill’s fault, but if he wants to be a top ten QB he has to find a way to win those games. Things don’t get any easier this week as he has to go into New England and do battle with Tom Brady and the Patriots.

11. Russell Wilson – Seattle Seahawks – Power Ranking Score: 256

Here’s the thing about Russell Wilson, he’s special when it comes to extending plays and moving with the ball in his hands. Yes, he can take off and run as well or better than any QB in the NFL, but how he extends plays with his legs is really only second to Aaron Rodgers. Wilson still isn’t there as a pure thrower yet, but that one special trait of his is enough to keep him hovering around the top ten.

10. Matt Ryan – Atlanta Falcons – Power Ranking Score: 272.9

Matt Ryan did a nice job of keeping the Falcons in the game on Monday night against the red hot Aaron Rodgers in Green Bay. Ryan may never be a top five QB in the NFL, but he’s good enough to win a Super Bowl with, the Falcons just need to improve the team around him.

9. Joe Flacco – Baltimore Ravens – Power Ranking Score: 275.2/strong>

Don’t look now, but the same Baltimore Ravens team that won the Super Bowl a few years back may have quietly fought their way back to the ranks of contender this season and Flacco’s play has had a lot to do with that. He’s already proven he can heat up in the postseason and carry a team on his back so don’t be surprised if the Ravens make some noise in the AFC.
