The Armchair Quarterback’s Guide To The NFL: Week 15
Minnesota Vikings at Detroit Lions
The Lions offense had been looking very stagnant a few weeks back, but back to back games against the Bears and Buccaneers bad pass defenses seems to have brought some life back into Matt Stafford and the Lions offense. While the Minnesota defense is better than those other two teams, I’m not sure they can completely shut down Stafford and Calvin Johnson. That will put pressure on Teddy Bridgewater and the Lions defense may just be the best he’s had to face so far in his young career. I’ll take the Lions at home in this one.

San Francisco 49ers at Seattle Seahawks
A month ago this game looked like one of the most exciting match ups on the NFL schedule. Now it looks like a possible beat down. Suddenly the Seahawks defense is back to being one of the most dominant units in all of the NFL and at the exact same time Colin Kaepernick and the 49ers offense seem to have come off the rails. This is not the team that San Francisco wants to face while they try to get back on their feet. I just can’t see the 49ers putting many points on the board in this one.
