The New York Giants acquired Eli Manning in a draft day trade from the San Diego Chargers, and they have been very happy with that decision. He has led them to two Super Bowl wins, and has led them to quite a few unexpected postseason runs. Manning has had his issues with inconsistency and interceptions throughout his career, but he has also had his seasons of pure brilliance.

He has made the Pro Bowl three teams so far in his career, and has won the Super Bowl MVP twice in both 2007 and 2011. Being the brother of Peyton Manning hasn’t been easy for him, but he has done an excellent job of creating his own name and legacy. The Giants wouldn’t have had near the type of success that they have recently without him.

Manning has an impressive 8-3 overall record in the postseason. His best season came in his Super Bowl winning 2011 season when he threw for 4,933 yards, 29 touchdowns, and 16 interceptions.
