2. Sam Bradford, St. Louis Rams

The St. Louis Rams were hoping that Sam Bradford could come back this season and take a couple steps forward towards the playoffs. Bradford unfortunately ended up tearing his ACL for the second time in as many years, and his future with the franchise is very much in doubt. There have been rumors that the Rams want to bring him back, but it is a risk at this point.

Bradford had shown signs of improvement before he got hurt again. Last season in seven regular season games, he threw for 1,687 yards, 14 touchdowns, and four interceptions. Those numbers were much improved from the 2012 season, and he was improving with his arm as well as his decision making.

It will be very intriguing to see if the Rams keep him on board and make their jump next season. Either way, losing him for the season was a huge loss and the Rams might very well have made a run at a playoff spot with him under center.
