When the Milwaukee Bucks drafted Jabari Parker with the No. 2 overall pick in the draft, the last thing they were thinking about was having to deal with his injuries. Joel Embiid was passed on for this very reason, but everything seemed to look good as far as Parker’s health.
All was good until Monday night against the Phoenix Suns when Parkers suffered a scary knee injury that has forced him to leave the game.
The footage of Parker’s injury is as gruesome as it gets, as the rookie’s knee bends int he complete opposite direction it’s supposed to.
The rash of knee injuries to NBA stars and rising stars over the years is one of the main reasons the Bucks and their fans are hardly optimistic after this injury. From Derrick Rose to Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant, just about everyone has been bitten by the injury bug and it looks like Parker is the latest in the long line of stars to go down.
We saw Kyrie Irving suffer what looked like a serious knee injury on Thursday night but it was just a scare. This looks to be a lot more serious though as the Bucks season just took a sudden turn for the worse with Parker’s scary injury.
