Honorable Mention

Eli Manning, New York Giants – Winner: Super Bowl XLII & XLVI, 2/3/08 & 2/5/12

It hard to put Eli Manning on this list after winning two Super Bowls, but then again, it’s hard not to put him on this list looking at his career arc.

Manning has had one of the strangest careers, and some of the most unbelievable luck when it comes to playoffs and Super Bowls. For several seasons, Manning seemed to get hot at just the right time. But is the Eli we’ve seen the past two seasons really more the “real” one, or has a depleted Giants team had more to do with his poor performance?

It’s hard to say right now, but after Manning retires, he may very well occupy a permanent spot on this list. For now, we’ll just say the jury is still out.
