Well, it was fun while it lasted. In last week’s NBA Power Rankings, the Sixers snuck into the No. 29 by the grace of two wins and a terrible week from the Detroit Pistons. Seven days later and the Pistons are actually winning games while Philly’s win total still sits at two.

In other words, the Furkan Aldemir Era hasn’t gone all too well so far. The Sixers still sport the league’s worst point differential (-12.5) and followed up a happier week with four straight losses. As for Michael Carter-Williams, a lone “bright” spot, I’m starting to wonder what his career would look like had he been drafted by anyone but the Sixers. Would his numbers look as good? Would he be picking up all these bad habits on a losing team? Who knows? For the time being, unfortunately, we’ll have to be content watching him waste the first few years of his career on the worst team in the league.
. (2-22). Previous: .
