3. Kobe Doin Work

Date: 2003 & 2007 vs. Various NBA Teams
Stats: 40 points in 9 straight games (2003), 50 points in 4 straight games (2007).

It won’t matter what anyone says about how Michael Jordan was the best scorer in the NBA. I will always disagree and say that Kobe Bryant was better. Every time Bryant stepped on the basketball court he was a walking 40 point threat and for nine straight games in 2003 the NBA got to see it.

I have never seen another player in NBA history ever have the scoring mentality that Bryant has and the fact that he eclipsed 40 points in nine straight games once again put him in the same conversations as Jordan and Wilt Chamberlain. Jordan and Chamberlain each accomplished this feat, but when Bryant did it he only continued to put himself on their level as he has done throughout his entire career.

Furthermore in 2007 Bryant had a 50 point streak that ended after his fourth game when he scored 43 points in a win against the Golden State Warriors.
