Most Valuable Player

Aaron Rodgers, QB, Green Bay Packers

Aaron Rodgers had his worst game of the season on Sunday. He completed only 17 of 42 passes and threw two interceptions in Green Bay’s loss to Buffalo. To put his season in perspective, even after that poor game, he still has 35 touchdowns and only 5 interceptions. As long as he doesn’t have a similarly bad game in the last two weeks of the season, Rodgers should pick up another MVP award.

J.J. Watt, DE, Houston Texans

Watt is doing his best to keep this from being a one-man race. He’s now only a half-sack behind the league leaders, to go along with all of the other things he does for the Texans on both the offensive and defensive sides of ball. Watt would have a better shot if his team still had a chance of making the playoffs.

Andrew Luck, QB, Indianapolis Colts

The Colts clinched their second straight division title on Sunday. They did so despite Luck having his second straight bad game. After being fantastic throughout most of the season, Luck is now fading way back behind the other two contenders in this race.

In the Hunt:  Tom Brady (NE), DeMarco Murray (Dal), Le’Veon Bell (Pit)
