NFL: Projecting The Final Playoff Field

New England Patriots, AFC 1st Seed
The New England Patriots have come together after struggling early on in the season and are the first seed in the AFC with a record of 11-3. Tom Brady was being talked about as an aging quarterback with not much left in the tank earlier this season, and now he has played an MVP caliber season and has led his team to being a legitimate Super Bowl contender and the top seed in the conference.
Over the next two weeks of the regular season, the Patriots will be on the road against the New York Jets and back home against the Buffalo Bills. The Jets aren’t going to give them much of an issue if the Patriots play their style of football, and New England can take care of the Bills at home. Assuming the play to their potential, they’ll finish the season at 13-3 and will keep the first seed in the AFC.
Brady is looking to lead his team to yet another Super Bowl appearance, and the re-emergence of Rob Gronkowski as well as the receiving duo of Brandon LaFell and Julian Edelman have done a great job alongside of him. Everything will depend on whether or not the Patriots’ defense can slow down the opposing offenses that they’ll have to face.
