No. 32-29

32. Ryan Lindley – Arizona Cardinals – Power Ranking Score: NA

I feel bad for Arizona Cardinals fans. Their team has had a fantastic season but now they are forced to start arguably the worst QB in the NFL this week. ESPN Stats and Info tweeted out on Tuesday that Lindley owns the NFL record for most career pass attempts without ever throwing a TD pass. That’s not a record that any team would want their QB to set, but especially not a team that would like to advance in the playoffs. Let’s put it this way, he ranked last this week despite the fact that the Texans basically had to sign a QB off the street.

31. Case Keenum/Thad Lewis – Houston Texans – Power Ranking Score: NA

As of me writing this the Texans still have not announced which of these recently signed QBs will start for them this week. The rash of injuries for the Texans has decimated the position. Both have some NFL playing time under their belts and both of their previous production is better than Ryan Lindley, so miraculously the Texans are not in last place in these rankings despite their misfortunes at the position.

30. Johnny Manziel – Cleveland Browns – Power Ranking Score: 101.5 (-2)

Well, that was…terrible. All the hype and media attention in the world was on Johnny Football’s first NFL start and it went about as bad as it possibly could have. The good news for Browns fans is that there’s nowhere to go but up. I mean his second start certainly couldn’t be any worse than his first…right?

29. Blake Bortles – Jacksonville Jaguars – Power Ranking Score: 115.7 (+3)

Despite not really doing anything to improve his stock, Bortles is finally out of the bottom spot in these rankings after being there the past several weeks. This is basically because the three teams that had QBs ranked below him this week are now really struggling to get NFL caliber play at the position. Bortles may not have been great in his first season, but there are at least enough glimpses of potential to give Jaguars fans hope for the future.
