During his press conference announcing him becoming a part of the Dallas Mavericks, Rajon Rondo was asked maybe the most ridiculous question ever.

Thursday we saw the biggest trade of the young NBA season as the Boston Celtics sent veteran guard Rajon Rondo to the Dallas Mavericks, finally ending trade rumors that have surrounded him since last season.

Well on Friday Rondo sat down with the media in Dallas to talk about his new home, surrounded by some of his new friends, as well as the reporters. You know that there were a lot of questions that the media wanted to ask Rondo regarding this blockbuster move.

One reporter, though, maybe should have selected her question a little more carefully, because it turned out to be one of the most ridiculous questions ever.

When it was her turn to ask Rondo about the move to the Mavericks she, well, she inquired as to why Rondo “decided” to come to Dallas.

Yeah, I’m pretty sure that most of you could figure out the problem here. And to Rondo’s credit, he responded just perfectly.

The best part of all this, though, has to be Mark Cuban. Look to the right as soon as the question is asked and he just loses it.

Hey, we all make mistakes.
