Broncos vs. Bengals

If it weren’t for a tie against the Panthers, the Bengals would be in a three-way tie for the division lead in the AFC North. Going into Week 16, the Bengals are hanging on by a thread to their first-place lead. The story for the Bengals is the same old one. Andy Dalton is the Bengals’ worst enemy. When Dalton is playing well, the Bengals thrive. But when he chokes and gives the ball away, Cincinnati doesn’t have enough weapons to make up for mistakes.

The Denver Broncos come to Cincinnati in Week 16 and although Peyton Manning isn’t playing his best, they are still one of the best teams in the NFL. Obviously, the Broncos have one of the best offenses in the league. Manning has guys like Demaryius Thomas, Julius Thomas, and Emmanuel Sanders that are having unbelievable years. However, over the past few weeks, the player that has made this Denver offense so much more dynamic is running back C.J. Anderson. Over the past four weeks, Anderson has carried the football 109 times for 478 yards and five touchdowns.

On Monday Night Football, both teams are playing for something. Even though the Broncos are already in the playoffs, the Colts are vying for a first-round bye and to keep pace with the New England Patriots atop the AFC, the Broncos will have need to win this game. For the Bengals, a win here would improve their chances of winning the division.
