Losers: Indianapolis Colts

‘This team will go as far as Andrew Luck can take them’ seems like an awfully bad idea, not because Luck isn’t good but because it puts ridiculous pressure on a guy who isn’t playing defense, in the backfield or blocking on the line.

The Colts looked a lot like a team which was outclassed against the Cowboys and what’s terrible about that is the Cowboys have some similar issues on defense and yet they look competent.

The difference could be the continued black hole that is the Trent Richardson trade, or it could be the Dallas offensive line or even the experience Tony Romo has that Luck is still working on.

On the other hand, it was so bad that the Colts pulled Luck in the second half so maybe you can’t really blame him for lack of experience-nobody has experience like that.

The Colts won’t miss the playoffs or the division. They have a ‘get well’ game against the Tennessee Titans next week. They can build some momentum. But this was a disappointing effort for too much of the game.
