Winners: San Diego Chargers

The Chargers—and more importantly, Philip Rivers—managed to overcome a 28-7 deficit against the San Francisco 49ers to nudge themselves into the sixth seed. For now, at least.

They need to get past the Chiefs next week and would really love the Denver Broncos to beat the Cincinnati Bengals Monday night, but right now it seems they have their destiny in their own hands.

You have to wonder if this is a pyrrhic victory though, as they had more injuries along the offensive line, a line which really has had its depth tested already due to earlier injuries.

Can Rivers and head coach Mike McCoy find a way to overcome this?

If Rivers keeps playing like he did during the second half and overtime Saturday night, it’s hard to think they don’t.
