The Armchair Quarterback’s Guide To The NFL: Week 17
Philadelphia Eagles at New York Giants
While the Eagles don’t have the playoffs to play for anymore, I still think they are the better team and will pull this game out. Eli Manning is a better QB than Mark Sanchez and Odell Beckham Jr. is turning into a monster before our eyes, but the match up that I think will win this one for Philly is LeSean McCoy against a Giants defense that is allowing the worst yards per carry in the NFL against opposing running backs. I also think that Philly could make a big play or two on special teams. This should be a good game, but I like the Eagles to pull out a close one.

Buffalo Bills at New England Patriots
Some may argue that since the Patriots have home field locked up that this could be a game that Buffalo could steal, but I’m not going down that road. While the Bills have a great defense they don’t have a great offense and I think if Tom Brady and the Pats starters just play a half they may put up enough points to put things out of reach for Kyle Orton and the Bills. The Pats are the better team and are almost impossible to beat at home, even if they don’t need this game.
