2. Megatron Will Put Up At Last 120 Yards And A Touchdown

Last time the Detroit Lions played the Green Bay Packers on September 21st, Calvin Johnson caught just six passes for 82 yards. While those numbers aren’t terrible at all, they aren’t the superstar numbers that we have become accustomed to seeing him put up.

Green Bay has a solid secondary, but Tramon Williams, Sam Shields, and Casey Hayward can’t stop Megatron. He will have a big game for Matthew Stafford in a huge situation, and he will be their go-to guy nearly every passing play. You can expect to see Johnson put up at least 120 yards and a touchdown on the stat sheet, if not more.

Detroit knows that they don’t have too many things on the Packers, but Johnson is one of them. He is a matchup nightmare for every single opposing defense, and Green Bay is going to have their hands full trying to deal with him.

It is going to be the one thing that could end up killing the Packers, and it will set up the shorter play to Golden Tate, Reggie Bush, or even the ground game. Green Bay is going to have to know where Johnson is at all times, but they can’t afford to throw their entire defense at him. Detroit has improved in big ways from recent years, and they are more than just a one-trick team.
