4. Detroit Will Rush For At Least 150 Yards

Reggie Bush and Joique Bell have been a two-man wrecking crew this season for the Detroit Lions on the ground. They have picked up 1,078 yards on the ground between each other, but they have perfected the dual-back system. Bell is the grind it out running back, while Bush comes into the game and can either carry the football or make plays as a receiver out of the backfield.

That being said, the Green Bay Packers’ biggest weakness is their inability to defend against the rushing attack. They are currently 22nd in the NFL in rush defense, giving up 120.5 yards per game.

Detroit is going to look to take advantage of that in a big way, and they will have success on the ground. Bell and Bush will total at least 150 yards on the afternoon, and the Packers might give up an even bigger game than that. The tale of the rushing game for both teams is going to be a big factor in who ends up with the division title.

The Lions are a very dangerous offensive team and are a bad matchup for the Packers’ defense. Having the ability to make big plays through the air and on the ground certainly isn’t a good thing. Detroit is going to have to play a nearly perfect game on the road in a hostile environment, but establishing the run game early would be big for them.
