3. Calvin Johnson Has To Shred The Defense

Calvin Johnson is the biggest playmaker on the field for either team, and the Detroit Lions have to use him to shred the Green Bay Packers’ secondary apart. The Packers have some playmakers in the defensive backfield, but they don’t have anyone that can lock down Johnson.

Matthew Stafford is going to need some big plays and third down conversions throughout the game, and that is where Megatron is going to need to step up. Whether he is asked to make big catches down the field or simply to make big catches across the middle, he has to find ways to make it happen. It wouldn’t be surprising if the game comes down to Johnson making a big play or two down the stretch.

Detroit knows that they have the best offensive playmaker on the field, and they are going to give him plenty of opportunities to leave his fingerprints on the game.
