Green Bay Packers, Aaron Rodgers

The Green Bay Packers came away with the second overall seed in the NFC and the NFC North division title with a 30-20 victory over the Detroit Lions at home last night. Aaron Rodgers scared the entire Packers’ fan base by going down with a strained calf in the second quarter, but came back to lead his Packers to victory.

Rodgers finished the season with 4,381 yards, 38 touchdowns, and just five interceptions. That touchdown to interception ratio is ridiculous, and most fans and analysts believe that he is in line to win the NFL’s Most Valuable Player award. Playing through the calf injury against the Lions and coming through with the win will be one of the main memories from this season, and now he has the chance to make a run in the playoffs.

While the Packers have other key players like Clay Matthews, Eddie Lacy, Jordy Nelson, and Randall Cobb, they will live and die by the play of Rodgers.

It is going to be a very entertaining NFC playoff run, and there are plenty of teams that could make the push to the Super Bowl. Green Bay is one of the teams with the best chances to represent the NFC and play for another ring, but they are going to have to go through Seattle first.
