Cincinnati Bengals – Frustrate And Put Pressure On Andrew Luck
One way that the Cincinnati Bengals can knock off the Indianapolis Colts on the road this week, is by getting to Andrew Luck and forcing him to make quick decision. Luck has had a turnover issue ever since being drafted, and the Bengals need to take advantage of that fact.
If the Bengals want to come away with a wildcard victory, they are going to need to figure out a way to consistently put pressure on Luck. Carlos Dunlap is the only pass rusher that really catches the average fans eye when looking over the roster, as he is the only player with more than three total sacks. Dunlap is going to be asked to step up this week, and his job will be to put Luck on his back.
Cincinnati is the 20th ranked pass and run defense, and that isn’t going to get the job done against the juggernaut offense that the Colts have.
The only way to win this football game is to force turnovers, and getting to the quarterback is always a major reason for turnovers. Luck needs to feel pressure, and he needs to take some hits for the Bengals to come out of Indianapolis with a win.
