Indianapolis Colts – Slow Down Jeremy Hill

The one name that the Indianapolis Colts need to key in on more than anyone else is rookie running back Jeremy Hill. Ever since he took over the starting running back job from Giovani Bernard, he has been a force to be reckoned with in the NFL.

Hill has racked up five 100-yard games, and is looking to have another one against a defense that has been extremely inconsistent against the run. Indianapolis ended up being ranked 18th in the league against the run, allowing an average of 113.4 yards per game. The rookie running back out of LSU has shown the ability to run over much better defenses for much bigger games than that.

Cincinnati knows that they don’t have a great starting quarterback in Andy Dalton, and establishing a dangerous rushing attack could be their only hope.

If the Colts are able to slow down Hill and keep him in check, their chances of winning this game will skyrocket. They have the talent on defense to make it happen, but they have to actually back it up with their play on the field.
