4. Cardinals @ Panthers
The Panthers confirmed this week that they will be wearing their white jerseys and white pants at home this Saturday when they host the Arizona Cardinals. Barring a decision to go mono-red, the Cardinals will be in their red jerseys and white pants. This isn’t a terrible match-up by any means, but the all-white is my least favorite option for the Panthers. Since this is going to feature modern uniforms, I would much rather see the Panthers in their all-black uniforms. The blue in the striping should look nice with the Cardinals uniforms.
The Cardinals – great helmet and logo, terrible uniforms. A team with this much history and a good logo should not be wearing something befitting of an arena football team. The tapered stripes on the pants, the piping under the arms – all unnecessary features that serve to clutter and ruin this uniform. The Cardinals are one team in need of a Vikings-like modern / classic mash up.
Next: This next match-up features one of the best uniforms in sports, why is it only in third?
