Most Underrated NBA Fun

Trolling Los Angeles Lakers Fans

I’m not proud of this but I like to troll Lakers fans because…well because they are Lakers fans.

I really enjoy it when the home Lakers fans start chanting “MVP” for Kobe, so much so that I even start laughing loud enough for my neighbours to hear.

It’s especially amusing considering he is shooting 37.5% from the field, his PER is 75th in the league, his Real Plus Minus ranking is 401st in the NBA and that’s not a misprint. The Lakers are 4.3 points per 100 possessions better offensively when he is on the bench and a staggering 16.2 points per 100 possessions better defensively when he is riding the pine. Those numbers probably have nothing to do with the fact that Kobe has taken more contested mid-range jumpers than 12 other entire NBA teams and hits less than the league average percentage of them. Did I mention he was putting these numbers up on a 10-22 team?

If laughter is in fact the best medicine of all then between us, Kobe and I are saving more lives than Doogie Howser, Dr Sheppard, House M.D. and Dr Quinn Medicine Woman combined.

MVP, MVP, MVP, MVP!
