2. Ryan Lindley Will Throw At Least Two Touchdowns

The Arizona Cardinals know that they aren’t starting their preferred passer at the quarterback position, but Ryan Lindley is going to have to step up. The Cardinals are going with the 25-year-old quarterback out of San Diego State due to the knee injuries that Drew Stanton and Carson Palmer are dealing with.

Lindley ended up playing in three games this season for the Cardinals, and threw for 562 yards, two touchdowns, and four interceptions.

Carolina’s defense tore Matt Ryan apart last week in their division-clinching victory over the Falcons, and they are going to do everything they can to shred Lindley apart too. Despite his struggles, Lindley has still shown some flashes of being a capable quarterback. In his last start against the San Francisco 49ers, Lindley completed 23 of his 39 passing attempts for 316 yards, two touchdowns, and three interceptions.

Obviously the interception number is concerning, but the other stats at least give Arizona some type of hope. Lindley will come through with at least two touchdowns against Carolina, but he’ll have to take care of the football as well to give his team a chance.
