4. Patrick Peterson Will Record At Least One INT

Patrick Peterson is the leader of the Arizona Cardinals’ defense, and he will be asked to make some plays against Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers’ offense.

So far this season Peterson has intercepted three passes, which definitely isn’t the number that he was looking to record. He also recorded just three interceptions last season, but will come up with at least one this week against the Panthers. Back in the 2012 season, Peterson came away with seven interceptions.

Peterson has been looking for an opportunity to prove that he is one of the elite corners in the game, and this is that opportunity.

Newton has had some turnover issues throughout his career, and he doesn’t have the quality targets that he had last year. This is an ideal situation for Peterson to capitalize on and lock Kelvin Benjamin down.

If the Cardinals are going to come away with a victory and move on to the divisional round of the playoffs, they are going to need their defense to step up. Peterson is their best playmaker, and this is the game that he must make an impact on.
